Story magazine, which began publication in late 2011 and featured articles about Kentucky and its citizens, has posted is ceasing print production, according to its website, Storythemagazine.com.

"There are so many articles that still need to be written, so many people from which to glean so much truth," publisher Julie Wilson wrote. "But Story's truth is this: print is not dead, but for us, it's no longer an option."

The cover of Story magazine's first issue was a profile of Ashley Brock, a model who traveled from her home in Leslie County to do photo shoots in Europe and Asia.

"We look for how we can tell stories about Kentucky that are debunking the myths that are out there," Wilson said in a 2014 interview.

"For now, we plan to continue sharing on our website as well as social media as often as we can," Wilson wrote in her online announcement.
