Medical provider relocating headquarters to Louisville
A medical equipment provider is relocating its corporate headquarters to Louisville in a move that the state estimates will create 57 jobs.
Pennsylvania-based RecoverCare LLC decided to make the move after merging in August with Louisville-based MedaSTAT.
RecoverCare plans to add 14,500 square feet to an existing 23,334 square-foot facility in Louisville.
The company specializes in providing wound care and bariatric medical equipment and services to long-term and acute care medical facilities, according to a state news release.
The company has been approved for up to $2.26 million in state tax incentives under the Kentucky Business Investment Program. In general, when a company is approved for tax incentives, it can keep that amount of money, which it would otherwise pay in taxes, assuming it fulfills the terms of the deal.
