■ Central Baptist Hospital's new Beaumont facility, 3084 Lakecrest Circle, will hold an open house from 4-7 p.m. Feb. 5. Visitors can tour the facility, meet physicians and check out the imaging equipment.
The facility is home to Baptist Internal Medicine & Endocrinology at Beaumont and Central Baptist Hospital Breast Imaging Services.

■ Sayre Christian Village Healthcare Center has opened the initial phase of a multifaceted $14 million expansion. The project, when completed, will increase the size of the facility at 3775 Belleau Wood Drive to 120,000 square feet from 40,000 square feet. It will include 66 private rooms and 32 semi-private rooms.
The first phase of the expansion, which opened last week, contains a Center for Orthopedic Care that provides rehabilitation services to those recovering from orthopedic surgery or injury. The center includes 19 private rooms and rehabilitation services are supported by a new 5,300-square-foot therapy department, which provides out-patient rehabilitation services seven days a week.
Another part of the expansion includes two new Reflection of Life Communities, 22 private rooms designed for residents challenged with various stages of dementia.
