Saul Good restaurant nears opening in Victorian Square

Final preparations and staff training were underway this week at the third and latest Saul Good as it prepares to open at 11:30 a.m. Monday in renovated Victorian Square in downtown Lexington, according to restaurant owner Rob Perez.

The newest restaurant, which occupies about 4,500 square feet at 123 North Broadway, joins those at Hamburg and Fayette Mall.

On Tuesday, chef Jeffery Mayer prepared a mornay sauce for hot Brown pizzas while training staff.
