Simpsonville outlet mall to hold job fair Tuesday

The Outlet Shoppes of the Bluegrass, the mall that is scheduled to open this summer off Interstate 64 in Simpsonville, will have a job fair on Tuesday to fill more than 1,000 positions.

The job fair will be 4 to 8 p.m. at the Martha Layne Collins High School gymnasium, 801 Discovery Boulevard in Shelbyville.

Horizon Group Properties, which owns the mall with CBL & Associates Properties, said in a news release that representatives from many stores and businesses would be present.

Horizon suggested that applicants "dress for success" and bring plenty of copies of their résumé. Applicants must be 18 years or older.

Outlet stores scheduled to participate in the job fair are: adidas, Asics, Carters, Chico's, Coach, Converse, Columbia Sportswear, Crabtree & Evelyn, Culver's, Croc's, Dress Barn, Famous Footwear, Fossil, Fox Head, Gold Toe, Guess, Haggar, Hanesbrands, Jockey, Jos A. Bank, Nike, Oshkosh B'Gosh, Perfumania, Skechers, Talbots, Tommy Hilfiger, Under Armour, White House/Black Market, Yankee Candle and the mall itself.
