Mellow Mushroom coming to new Plaza at Lexington Green

Mellow Mushroom, a popular national pizza and craft beer chain, will be adding a second location in Lexington.

The restaurant is coming to The Plaza at Lexington Green, at 220 Lexington Green Circle, where the movie theater used to be, and will have some patio seating as well, according to NAI Isaac.

The new Mellow Mushroom is scheduled to open in early 2016. Next door will be Sola Salon Studios. Vetdata also is leasing space in the building. A spot on the other end of the building is still available to lease.

Mellow Mushroom also has a location at 503 South Upper, near the University of Kentucky campus.
