Business transitions for the week of Jan. 25

▪  Maxim Healthcare Services, a provider of home health care, medical staffing and population health and wellness services, has opened a Lexington office that will focus primarily on providing staffing solutions for private duty nursing, school nursing, wellness programs and facilities. The office, at 2360 Chauvin Drive, is Maxim Healthcare Services’ second Kentucky location.

▪  Pet Valu, a community-focused retail chain carrying food, supplies, toys and other products for pets such as dogs, cats and reptiles, is opening a store in Lexington in Hartland Shopping Center, 4750 Hartland Parkway. For more information, go to Us.petvalu.com.

▪  Kinnucan’s, an outdoor and lifestyle retailer, is coming to Fayette Mall. Kinnucan’s offers a variety of family and collegiate apparel, footwear, sunglasses and more from well-known brands such as The North Face, Patagonia, Southern Marsh and Chaco.

Construction is underway next to Travinia Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar in the redeveloped middle wing.

The retailer currently operates 15 stores across the Southeast. The Fayette Mall location will be its first in Kentucky.
