Business transitions for the week of Feb. 15

▪  Bill Hisle and Stuart Meredith, owners/operators of Cattleman’s Roadhouse, have announced plans to open their sixth Kentucky location, on Championship Way in Georgetown. The restaurant is family focused, featuring hand-cut, aged steaks and a large salad bar.

Cattleman’s Roadhouse is a locally owned and operated Kentucky Proud restaurant that began in 2001. It now has restaurants in Louisville, Shepherdsville, Shelbyville, Frankfort and Mount Sterling.

▪  Game Watch Parties, operated by two life-long University of Kentucky fans, has launched a new website that lists more than 10,000 Game Watch locations worldwide and offers options to traveling sports fans who want to watch games in the company of other fans of their team. ▪  Right Place Media, one of the largest independent media agencies in the Southeast, celebrated its 15th anniversary Feb. 1. With headquarters in Lexington, Right Place Media was founded by CEO and president Joel Rapp and offers expertise in traditional, interactive and direct response media services.

▪  Forterra Building Products, a multinational manufacturer of concrete and clay building products, has acquired Sherman-Dixie Concrete Industries, a producer of precast concrete structures operating eight facilities in Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama and Indiana. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Sherman-Dixie will continue to operate its existing facilities. Under the new structure, the company will be part of Forterra’s pipe and precast business and will adopt the Forterra name in early 2016.
