Bank of the Bluegrass & Trust Co.: John J. “J.J.” Deans has been promoted to chief credit officer. Deans has been with the bank for six years as a credit analyst and has more than 10 years’ experience in the banking industry. He will work with executive management and the board of directors to implement loan strategies as well as continuing to analyze loans and work with loan officers.

Unified Trust Co.: Warren Leet has been promoted to senior adviser partner associate for the Wealth Management Group. Karen Kruzel has been promoted to fiduciary investment advisor for the Wealth Management Group.

Law

Stoll Keenon Ogden: Five attorneys in the firm’s Lexington office have been promoted to members of the firm: Monica Braun, Chapman Hopkins, Elizabeth Muyskens, Nick Nicholson and Sarah Reeves.

Health care

Lexington Clinic: The following officers have been elected to serve for the year: Dr. Stephen C. Umansky, president; Dr. Michael T. Cecil, vice president; Dr. J. Elizabeth Lehmann, secretary; Dr. Andrew C. McGregor, treasurer. Other members of the board are Drs. Michael W. Eden, Kimberly A. Hudson, Mamata Majmundar, Gregory V. Osetinsky and J. Sloan Warner Jr.

Organizations

Reclaiming America’s Middle Class: Kentucky Community & Technical College System President Jay K. Box has been appointed to the new national community college board, which is a federal policy advocacy group for community colleges.

InfraGard National Members Alliance: Michael E. Poynter, executive director of the Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services, has been appointed to serve on the alliance’s board of directors. InfraGard is a partnership between the FBI and the private sector, made up of people who represent businesses, academic institutions, state and local law enforcement agencies, and other participants dedicated to sharing information and intelligence to prevent hostile acts against the United States.
