Churchill Downs adds ticket resale site for fans

Looking for Derby tickets? Churchill Downs on Thursday announced a partnership with Ticketmaster to create a fan-to-fan resale site for Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks tickets.

The Kentucky Derby Ticket Exchange, Kentuckyderby.com/resale, will let fans who can’t attend the events sell their tickets for face value or above. Buyers will get tickets verified by Ticketmaster.

As of noon Thursday, there were 1,302 ticket listings, from $407 to $4,532 per ticket.

Fans can also buy general admission tickets through Ticketmaster at Kentuckyderby.com or at any Ticketmaster retail outlet nationwide.
