Lexington Theological Seminary: The Rev. Leah Schade will official join the seminary in August as assistant professor of preaching and worship.

Accreditation Council for Co-op and Internships: Gladys Miller, director of Eastern Kentucky University’s Center for Career and Co-op, has been named to a two-year term as chair.
League of Women Voters of Kentucky: The following have been named to two-year terms as officers: Donna Blue, Tamara Fagley, Cindy Heine and Carol O’Reilly of Lexington; Joan Lindop, Harriette Seiler and George Schuhmann of Louisville; and Meryl Ward of Middlesboro. They join Terry Naydan and Nita Smith, Lexington, co-presidents; Bonnie Lynch, Hopkinsville, first vice president; Steve Senft, Lexington, second vice president; Fran Wagner, Louisville, secretary; and Richard Heine, Lexington, treasurer.
Republican Party of Kentucky: Tres Watson has been named communications director. Josh Thomas has been named political director.

Southeastern Freight Lines: Marty Cox has been promoted to service center manager, overseeing daily operations in the company’s Lexington facility.
