Seminars/events
Hospice of the Bluegrass will host the Art and Science of Palliative Medicine Conference from 8 a.m to 3 p.m. May 13 at Keeneland Sales Pavilion.
Palliative care is provided by a team of doctors, nurses and other specialists who work with a patient’s other doctors to provide an extra layer of support. Palliative care is appropriate at any age and at any stage in a serious illness, and can be provided together with curative treatment.

The registration fee is $125; it includes a continental breakfast, coffee break, lunch and conference handouts.
The 2016 Regional Career Fair will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 19 in the Megowan Building at Bluegrass Community & Technical College’s Newtown Campus, 500 Newtown Pike.

Bluegrass IIBA Chapter will offer a series of professional development workshops to give participants a look at the role of business analyst. Each workshop will stand on its own; attend one or more of the workshops to learn about the IT business analyst role.
Topics include requirements discovery and specification, business rules, business analysis planning, use cases, process modeling, data modeling and requirements reviews.
