Single mother of toddler needs $500 to pay rent

Angela Wallace, with Independence Place, is requesting $500 to help a single mother of a toddler pay her rent. The client recently had to pay funeral expenses for her mother. She also had to pay for car repairs.

She has been working on a budget with the staff at Independence Place and will make smaller payments toward the funeral expenses. She should be able to maintain her monthly bills after receiving this assistance.

Lex-Care also has six additional cases of members in need of assistance.
