Business transitions for the week of July 11

▪ Continental Sewing & Repair Center, a local, family-owned, machine and supplies sales and service company has relocated to the original Central Bank location at 1331 Eastland Drive and will celebrate its grand re-opening celebration the month of July.

The original Eastland Drive building, built in 1970, housed the first Central Bank branch location in Lexington until 2010. Continental Sewing & Repair Center opened in 1964 at the Eastland Shopping Center.

The new location provides more room with 3,600 square feet along with plenty of parking. Continental Sewing & Repair is a dealer for Brother, Janome, Simplicity, Juki, Arrow, Grace, Quilters Select and Consew. The store also services and repairs all makes and models back to the 1890’s.
