Commerce Lexington recognizes the contributions of small businesses

Commerce Lexington, Inc. will honor small businesses and their owners at its Salute to Small Business Awards luncheon from noon to 1:30 p.m., Aug. 25 at the Keeneland Entertainment Center.

The Small Business of the Year is selected from the category winners, announced at the awards luncheon and has the opportunity to be submitted for state and national recognition through the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Business Success Award: MCF Advisors

Minority Business Award: A Cup of Common Wealth

Green Initiative Award: Lexington Habitat for Humanity

Nonprofit Award: Living Arts & Science Center

Legacy Award: Plastic Surgeons of Lexington

Young Entrepreneur Award: LexEffect Events and Management
