Finance
Central Kentucky Ag Credit: Thomas Whitaker has joined the bank as an accountant and will work at the administrative office in Lexington.
Farmers Capital Bank Corp.: John C. Roach has been named a director to the bank’s board. Roach served as general counsel to Kentucky Governor Ernie Fletcher. Recently he served as General Counsel in the transition of Governor Matt Bevin. A former Kentucky Supreme Court Justice, Roach now practices law at Ransdell Roach & Royse.
First Security Bank: Kevin Gallagher, vice president/deposit services manager, along with Melissa Meriwether and Kevin Howard have been named deposit operations specialists. Krista Niehaus has been named vice president/sales and service manager. Niehaus will be located at corporate headquarters in Owensboro, but will travel to the markets the bank serves: Bowling Green, Franklin and Lexington, as well as Evansville and Newburgh, Ind.
Health care
Baptist Health: Patricia T. “Patty” Mason has been promoted to vice president for strategy and marketing. Since 2013, she had served as assistant vice president of planning and development at the Louisville headquarters, following six years as vice president of planning, marketing and business development for Baptist Health Lexington.
Law
Frost Brown Todd: Former managing associates Keeana Sajadi Boarman and Martha H. Staude in Lexington, KY, have been promoted to members (partners) in the firm’s Lexington office. Boarman is a member of the Mergers and Acquisitions practice group. Staude is a member of the firm’s Regulated Business practice group.

Rotary Club of Lexington: The following have been elected 2016-2017 officers and directors: Gerry van der Meer, president; Mary Beth Wright, past president; Paul Chewning, president elect; Judy Marcum, secretary; Kelli Newman, sergeant-at-arms; Kent Hisle, treasurer; Susan Adams; Sharon Reed; and Jamie Schrader.
