Need a coronavirus test? Interactive map shows Walmart drive-thru sites across US

You can get a COVID-19 test at select Walmart stores that offer drive-thru testing.

Walmart locations in 22 states, including North Carolina, Texas, Florida, and Georgia, are offering self-swab testing at stores. People have to meet CDC and state guidelines in order to be tested.

The testing sites use self-administered nasal swabs and people are asked to swab themselves in their cars, Walmart said. A Walmart pharmacist is on-site to make sure the test is taken correctly. Testing is done by appointment only.

Walmart partnered with Quest Diagnostics and eTrueNorth for the drive-thru sites. Quest Diagnostics delivers results within an average of two days and eTrueNorth delivers results in three to five days.

Getting the test will also come at no out-of-pocket cost to the person, according to Walmart.

So far, Walmart says it has tested around 38,000 people at its 139 locations throughout the U.S.
