We know you love keeping up with the news, and chances are you’d like to share articles easily with family and friends.

That’s why we are introducing a brand new way for our valued subscribers to “gift” up to 10 articles a month to others. Starting today, Lexington Herald-Leader subscribers can share 10 articles a month — giving non-subscribers complimentary access to our award-winning reporting, local news, opinion articles and more.

How article gifting works:

Subscribers will see a “Gift article” button at the top of stories on kentucky.com. This feature will also be available soon on our mobile apps.

Clicking the button expands a menu that allows you to choose how you wish to gift the article. You can copy the link, or open share tools to email, text or post on social media.

Anyone who clicks on the gift link gets free access to the article.

If you would like to subscribe to begin sharing gift articles with friends and family, go to kentucky.com/subscribe. If you’re already a subscriber, you can start using this feature now.

We hope this feature helps subscribers share trusted news more easily and spark thoughtful conversations in their communities.

Find more details in our FAQ.

Thank you for valuing great journalism in our commonwealth and helping our news community grow.
