Lexington firefighters extinguished a railroad tie fire off Angliana Avenue on Wednesday afternoon.

Just before 1 p.m., fire crews arrived near train tracks that run behind apartment complexes on Angliana near South Broadway. Black smoke could be seen billowing from the scene.
