Fatal ATV crash in Harlan County, KY under investigation by state police

A 22-year-old man is dead after being involved in an ATV accident in Harlan County, according to Kentucky State Police.

Kentucky State Police were called to an ATV collision around 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Evarts ATV Park in Harlan County.

Preliminary findings indicate that a 22-year-old male was found dead. An investigation was opened by state police.

The Harlan County Coroner’s Office, Harlan Lifeguard Ambulance Service and the Harlan Rescue Squad responded to assist.

State police did not identify the individual, or what led up to the crash.
