At least 1 driver seriously injured in crash on Man o’ War Boulevard in Lexington

At least one driver was seriously injured in a crash Thursday morning on Man o’ War Boulevard, according to the Lexington Police Department.

The crash happened around 7:45 a.m., between Alumni Drive and Pimlico Parkway. Lexington police Lt. Steven Wiggins said two cars collided, and both drivers were injured.

One of the drivers suffered life-threatening injuries, Wiggins said. The medical status of the other driver was unknown.

The collision reconstruction unit was called to the scene to investigate the crash. The road was completely blocked off while investigators processed the scene. It reopened around 1:30 p.m.
