Motorcyclist killed in Lexington crash identified by coroner

A motorcyclist died in a single-vehicle crash Sunday in Lexington.

The wreck happened around 11:50 a.m. on Man O’ War Boulevard at Todds Road. Lexington police said the motorcyclist died at a hospital.

The Fayette County Coroner’s Office identified the motorcyclist as Kelse Patton, 31, of Campton. Patton was pronounced dead at 12:36 p.m. from multiple blunt force injuries.

Police did not provide any details on what caused the wreck. The coroner’s office listed Patton’s manner of death as an accident.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
