The crash happened around 8:15 a.m. Thursday on Winchester Road and Loudon Avenue. Lexington police Lt. Steven Wiggins said a van and motorcycle collided, sending the motorcyclist to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the van was uninjured, Wiggins said. The circumstances of the wreck weren’t provided, and it’s unknown if the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet.
Officials are investigating the wreck, but no charges have been filed as of Thursday morning, Wiggins said.
