A man was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound Monday morning outside a central Kentucky courthouse, according to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.
The man was found in a vehicle outside the Madison County family courthouse on North First Street in downtown Richmond. The sheriff’s office said deputies were initially called to the area for a report of suspicious activity in a vehicle in front of the courthouse.
No additional information about the man or the incident was available Monday afternoon.
