Lane closures planned for New Circle Road, I-75 in Lexington this week

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet officials will close lanes of New Circle Road and Interstate 75 this week for pothole repair work.

The closures will begin Tuesday, June 23, and last through Thursday, June 25. The transportation cabinet said work will begin in the left lane on the inner loop of New Circle Road at the Lansdowne Drive overpass.

The lane will be blocked off between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., according to the transportation cabinet.

On Wednesday, officials will close the right lane on the inner loop of New Circle Road at the Versailles Road overpass. The lane will also be blocked off between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., according to the transportation cabinet.

Then from 6 p.m. until midnight, officials will block off the left lane of southbound Interstate 75 at mile-marker 117, according to the transportation cabinet.

The final lane closure planned for this week will take place Thursday in the right lane on the outer loop of New Circle Road at the Versailles Road overpass. The transportation cabinet said the closure will last between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
