Section of downtown Lexington blocked off due to emergency water main repair
A section of traffic in downtown Lexington has been blocked off due to an emergency water main repair, according to the Lexington Traffic Management Center.
The right lane of West Main Street between North Limestone and North Upper Street will be shut down until further notice while crews perform the repair. A timeline of when the lane might reopen was not provided.
A spokesperson for Kentucky American Water did not immediately return a request for comment.
