University of Kentucky issues safety alert about flasher in Patterson Office Tower

A flasher was reported Thursday at the University of Kentucky.

About 3:45 p.m. Thursday, UK police received a report of indecent exposure on the sixth floor of the Patterson Office Tower.

The victim, a woman, described the flasher as a black male in his early 20s, about 5 foot 9 and 160 pounds. He had short black hair and a slender build and he was wearing a navy blue polo shirt and green baggy pants. The victim reported that the suspect exposed himself from a doorway and was last seen running down the hallway.

UK police have increased patrols in the area, according to a news release. Police said anyone with information about the incident should call (859) 257-8573.
