A Bourbon County man was killed in a fire early Tuesday in downtown Paris, according to Kentucky State Police.
Troy Clifton, 47, was found inside 502 High Street after the blaze was extinguished, according to state police.
State police were notified about the fire at 2:20 a.m. Tuesday.
The cause of the fire and the cause of death have yet to be determined.

State police investigator Bryant Hunger is leading the fire investigation. The death is being investigated by detective Christopher Marcum.
