Bourbon County

How’d a limo with a pole on the trunk end up in a Bourbon County creek on New Year’s Eve?

The Bourbon County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an accident involving a limousine with a pole sticking out of the trunk that ended up in a small creek.

The accident happened on Ruddles Mill Road in the early hours of New Year’s Eve morning in Bourbon County, according to the sheriff’s office. The wreck wasn’t reported until hours after it happened and the driver wasn’t present on scene when deputies arrived, so the office does not know what led to the accident.

No injuries were reported.

The sheriff’s office knows the identity of the vehicle’s registered owner and is actively investigating the incident.
