Man dies after fall while climbing a tree in Bourbon County

A man died after falling from a tree in Bourbon County Saturday.

Isizro Castrillo, 26, was climbing the tree when he lost his balance and fell between two tree branches, causing him to break his neck, according to a news release from state police.

Castrillo, who fell at about 10:40 a.m., was pronounced dead at the scene on Ruddles Fort Road.

State police said they did not know why Castrillo was in the tree. Foul play is not suspected.
