Dress for Success luncheon Sept. 20 at The Grand Reserve

Dress for Success Lexington’s Recycle the Runway fashion show and luncheon will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 20 at The Grand Reserve, 903 Manchester Street.

The fundraising event allows professional and amateur designers to showcase their skills.

Twelve local designers and their models will take center stage with their wearable art and compete for honors. The winning designer will receive a cash prize and a photo shoot from CJ Cruz Photography. Prior to the show, the designers purchase a bag of unsuitable garments and are given up to eight weeks to create runway-ready fashion.

The event also features a silent auction, grab bags and the success stories of two clients who will be walking the runway.
