Blue Grass Community Foundation accepting grant applications for grassroots projects in northeast Lexington neighborhoods
Blue Grass Community Foundation, in cooperation with North Limestone Community Development Corp., will again offer mini-grants for great ideas for grass-roots projects in Lexington’s northeast neighborhoods. Grants will range from $500 to $2,500 and should take no longer than six months to complete.
Projects should offer innovative, inclusive approaches to infusing art, culture, food and health into northeast Lexington. Applicants must live or work in Lexington’s East End, Martin Luther King or the North End neighborhoods. Projects must benefit those neighborhoods. Both individuals and organizations will be considered.
The online application is available at Bgcf.org. Paper applications are also available to download. The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. Oct. 10.
