School system requests feedback from parents of autistic students
As part of Fayette County Public Schools superintendent Manny Caulk’s Blueprint for Student Success, the special education department is gathering information to determine the needs of families of students with disabilities. In particular, a current survey seeks input from parents of students with autism spectrum disorder.
Caulk has directed staff to begin by piloting a parent support group; therefore, the district wants to gauge these families’ specific needs. Taking time to complete the brief survey will help staff respond appropriately.
The survey can be found surveymonkey.com/r/BTPSH2R.
Those who prefer to fill out a paper survey may request one by calling 859-381-4230 or 859-381-4182. The survey is also available in languages other than English.
