Adult Halloween party to benefit library’s homework program

The Lexington Public Library Foundation will host its third annual BOOk-tacular Halloween Party from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday at the Signature Club of Lansdowne.

The evening will feature music by DJ Danny McFadden, heavy hors d’oeuvres by Willie’s Locally Known, drinks by West Sixth Brewing and Bulleit Bourbon, psychic readings by Madame Kathryn, a silent auction and costume contests.

Proceeds will benefit the Lexington Public Library’s Homework Help program, which pairs volunteers with students after school every Monday through Thursday when school is in session.

Tickets are $75 and can be purchased at Booktacular.org. Guests must be 21 or older. For more information, call 859-231-5557.
