Write a novel in November with the help of a local organization
National Novel Writing Month, an organization that inspires writers to create a novel in November, is hosting a kickoff party at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Lexington Public Library’s Beaumont branch, 3080 Fieldstone Way.
Stephen Williams, the municipal leader of the group in Lexington, will help organize events all month long. The group plans to write at local coffee shops, libraries and restaurants across the city, and to host open forums where members can ask questions and receive support.
“We are looking for writers interested in writing a novel and perhaps seeking an extra nudge to complete their work,” Williams said.
