Pets and Vets Trunk or Treat is Friday

Bring your cat, dog, bird, fish or other beloved creature to Pets and Vets Trunk or Treat from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Bluegrass Veterinary Specialists + Animal Emergency, 1591 Winchester Road.

Veterinary staff will be giving away pet-friendly and human Halloween treats in the animal hospital’s parking lot. Admission is free, but a Best in Trunk contest and pet costume contest will raise funds for the office’s charity account to help clients who cannot afford life-saving care. Pet-related vendors will be on site, as well.
