Gift of Smiles Dental Day scheduled for Saturday
On Saturday, several area dentists, hygienists and assistants will provide free dental services, including fillings, extractions and limited cleanings, to uninsured patients. Cosmetic procedures will not be offered; only services that rid the patient of disease and/or pain.
The Gift of Smiles Dental Day will be at the offices of Drs. Buchart, Derer and Johnson-Higgins, 698 Perimeter Drive. Patients will be seen from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis. Patients must arrive prior to 2:30 p.m. in order to be seen.
To qualify for services, patients must be between the ages of 2 and 100, free of infectious disease, medically stable, do not have dental insurance and meet the income guidelines below. Individuals seeking care must bring proof of household income (pay stubs, first page of tax return or Social Security award letter).

▪ Three-member household $40,000
▪ Four-member household: $48,000
▪ Five-member household: $56,000
