70-year-old man killed in Pike County crash

A 70-year-old man was killed Thursday in a one-car crash in Pike County.

Kentucky State Police said Linda May was traveling north on U.S. 119 near Belfry on Thursday afternoon when she lost control of her 2002 GMC Envoy and struck a tree. Terry May, 70, of McAndrews, a passenger in the SUV, was taken to Pikeville Medical Center, where he died.

Police say they don’t think May was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
