City crews out collecting fall leaves

Lexington’s 2016 vacuum leaf collection program began on Wednesday, Nov. 9, and is scheduled to continue through Thursday, Dec. 22.

The vacuum pickup is offered once a year for single-family homes that receive city waste collection service.

You can see the city’s leaf collection map, find out when leaf vacuuming will come to your neighborhood, and sign up for text alerts about leaf vacuuming at lexingtonky.gov/leaves.
