Stray bullet hits Lextran bus; no one hurt

A stray bullet from an exchange of gunfire between people in two vehicles struck the windshield of a Lextran bus about noon Monday, according to Lexington police.

There were passengers on board at the time, but no injuries were reported, police spokeswoman Brenna Angel said. The shooting occurred near the Woodhill Center.

Police are investigating, but they don’t have a clear description of anyone involved in the shooting.
