Child dies after being injured in crash in Garrard County
An 11-year-old girl has died of injuries sustained in a crash in Garrard County.
Caitlyn Wilson was a passenger in a vehicle involved in a crash on Thursday, according to the Fayette County coroner’s office. She died Friday afternoon at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital as a result of blunt force injuries, according to the coroner.
Caitlyn was a fifth-grader at Paint Lick Elementary, according to a post on the school’s Facebook page.
