Fire damages Qdoba in Lexington; cause not yet determined

The cause of a fire early Tuesday morning that damaged a Lexington restaurant is under investigation.

Firefighters were called to a fire at the Qdoba on East Tiverton Way about 1:15 a.m., Battalion Chief Joe Best said. The building was heavily damaged, but there were no injuries. No one was inside the building when firefighters arrived.

The restaurant will have to be renovated before it can reopen, Best said.
