Cardinal Valley Elementary students create art for the Legends ballpark

Whitaker Bank Ballpark got more colorful and art-filled on Thursday afternoon thanks to students in an art club at Cardinal Valley Elementary School.

Led by teacher and local muralist Michelle Armstrong, about 20 Cardinal Valley Elementary Art Club students showcased their talents by creating a Kentucky — and Legends — themed mural on three electrical boxes in the ballpark’s parking lot.
