Ride of Silence in Lexington honors cyclists killed or injured in crashes

Lexington cyclists on Wednesday observed the 15th annual Ride of Silence, which honors those who have been injured or killed while cycling on public roadways.

The event is held on the third Wednesday in May. Last year, there were 445 events in all 50 states, as well as in 48 countries.
