Bluegrass 10,000 office open for business

Run, run, run as fast as you can to the newly opened Bluegrass 10,000 office, located on the second floor of the Dunbar Community Center, 545 North Upper Street, to register for the 41st annual Bluegrass 10,000 and Fun Run taking place July 4 in downtown Lexington. The office will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesdays, and 4 to 6:30 p.m. Thursdays.

At the office, runners, joggers and walkers can register and pick up their packets and T-shirts.

People can also sign up at John’s Run/Walk Shop at the Palomar location, from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday and from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. June 14, as well as the Ashland location, from noon to 2 p.m. June 17 and from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., June 26; and from 5:30 to 7 p.m. every Tuesday in June at West Sixth Running Club.

Participants can also sign up online at Blugrass10k.com. Bluegrass 10,000 fees are $35 for individuals and $25 per person for teams of five to 10. The Fun Run fee is $15 per person.
