Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation golf tournament helps local patients

The Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation, part of KentuckyOne Health, will host its annual golf scramble Monday at the University Club of Kentucky, 4850 Leestown Road.

Now in its 28th year, the tournament has raised more than $2.1 million to support programs and services at Saint Joseph Hospitals.

“This golf tournament helps provide the funds needed to help support patients and their families with local programs and projects that would have otherwise gone unfunded,” said Leslie Buddeke Smart, certified fund raising executive and division vice president of development at KentuckyOne Health.

Registration and lunch begin at 11 a.m. Tournament play will begin at noon, with an awards ceremony and dinner following.
