Peach Truck arrives in Kentucky; peaches also at farmers markets

It’s peach time, if you know where to look. The Peach Truck, which brings in fresh-picked Georgia peaches to Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania and Tennessee, was in Danville on Monday morning. The truck, which sells peaches by the 25-pound half-bushel, will be in the area on Wednesday before moving into Ohio. You can find out where online at thepeachtruck.com. The site also has recipes, too.

But you can also find fresh peaches at the Lexington Farmers Market at Broadway and Maxwell on Tuesday and Thursday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Locally grown peaches will be arriving at the farmers markets soon, too.
