Cat lovers, this is your weekend. The inaugural Cat Fanciers Association All-breed Cat Show and Agility Competition is Saturday and Sunday at Kentucky Indoor Sports, 404 Sporting Court, off West Reynolds Road near Meijer.
More than 200 pedigree cats from around the country are expected to compete. Top breeders will be present, and pets will be available for adoption. There will also be a vendor’s mall and concession stand.
Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors and students, $4 for ages 3-12, and ages 2 and younger are free. Parking is free.
Spectators may bring a can of cat food as a donation for the Lexington Humane Society and receive a ticket for a door prize. For a $1 discount admission coupon, go to Facebook.com/triplecrowncatfanciers/?ref=br_rs. A portion of the proceeds will benefit local feline shelters and rescues.
