Woodford Chamber in need of male mentors for Business Soft Skills Mentoring Program
Woodford County Chamber of Commerce needs professional male mentors to work with high school juniors and seniors, college students, and home-schooled male students in Woodford County.
The Business Soft Skills Mentoring Program helps male students learn the “soft” skills needed in the business world: a firm handshake, eye contact, appropriate dress for an interview, interviewing skills (practice or role-play), résumé, posture, cellphone etiquette and responding to emails in a timely fashion.
The program will begin in September and continue through April. Interested students and mentors should contact Don Vizi at woodforddirector@gmail.com or 859-873-5122.
