Pedestrian dies after being hit by vehicle on Nicholasville Road
A pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle on Nicholasville Road late Friday.
Brett Mcginns, 59, died of multiple blunt force injuries after being hit at the intersection of Nicholasville and Moore Drive, according to the Fayette County coroner’s office.
Police were called to the intersection at 10:13 p.m., said Lexington police Lt. Jeremy Tuttle.
He said a portion of Nicholasville Road was closed until 1:38 a.m. while police investigated.
